Measuring 5 ft 2 in x 3 ft 5 in (158 cms x 108 cms) this striking Red, Purple and Orange Filikli Tulu Rug is a Flat Weave Kilim with tufts of wool, goat-hair yarn or thin strips of cloth interwoven into the base kilim, using the Turkish knot, to create the distinctive ”shaggy” / “tufted” texture and appearance unique to these Rugs. Originally woven in Central Anatolia, Turkey by Tribal Weavers up to 60 years ago.
