Custom and personalised orders

We have one of the largest collections of Vintage Flatweave Kilim and Knotted Pile Pillows on-line, but we know that it still might not be possible to find exactly what you're looking for, so we offer our custom-made and personalized-order service.
If we do not have exactly what you are looking for in our ETSY Shop, we may have it in storage or be able to otherwise source it for you.
Please “convo” us with your enquiry and we will do our best to assist you.
In some instances, we may be able to manufacture or refurbish an article to your own size, colour and / or design specifications.
In addition, we have much experience and success working with Interior Designers worldwide to fulfil specific design briefs and product requirements.

Sizing details

We do include the size of each article in the listing.
However, as all our items are hand-made, there may be some slight variations / irregularities which are entirely consistent with the hand-made nature of the piece.
If size is important, please ask us to double check before deciding on your purchase.
Sizes on this site are given in Imperial Measurements (Feet and Inches) and Metric Measurements (Metres and Centimetres) depending on the location of the rug. If you require conversion please ask us

Care instructions

We do not recommend any washing process which involves heat, chemicals or abrasive actions.
Regular beating/shaking or gentle suction vacuum cleaning will ensure the longevity and preserve the beauty of your item.
Small spots and stains may be removed using a mild soap/detergent diluted in warm water. Always dab the stain (do not scrub) from front and back and apply pressure with a clean cloth to absorb any residual material. Always work in the direction of the pile (smooth feel) and never against the pile (rough feel). Ensure the item is left to thoroughly dry in a shaded, airy environment
Professional washing at least every 2 to 3 years is strongly advised, but please choose a service which uses traditional methods, not steam/chemicals

GST/VAT at Point of Sale

This Business has a turnover that falls below the threshold required for registering for VAT/GST in Turkey. Because of this, all Listing prices DO NOT include any kind of Sales Tax (VAT/GST) payable in the Buyer's destination State or Country. Any applicable Sales Tax (VAT/GST)will be assessed and collected at point of entry ad collected prior to delivery.

Customs Duty and Excise Fees at Point of Entry

Another potential additional charge may be Customs Duty and Excise Fees. Every Country places different monetary limits on importations for purposes of levying Customs Duty and Excise Fees. Your shipment may be subject to these charges which are assessed on the value of the importation at the point of entry into the Country and these fees and charges will have to be paid by the importer (the Buyer) prior to release of any shipment from Customs/Border Control.
We have no way of evaluating the specific charges made by any particular Country or State, so advise that you consult your own local Government website for the Customs Duty and Excise Fees regulations applicable to your own Country or State.

Wholesale availability

We welcome Wholesale orders. Pease contact us for individual, Wholesale information, discounts and requests.
As we aim to offer our rugs to all of our customers at the most reasonable and already highly discounted prices and as we absorb shipping costs which can be quite high, our ability to offer further Wholesale reductions is entirely dependant on the size and nature of the Order and the destination of the shipment.
However, we are always willing to work with other Businesses to reach mutually satisfactory outcomes. Please contact us with your Wholesale requirements and we will get back to you with our considered offer.

How accurate are your photos?

We make every best endeavour to photograph our items in natural light and to ensure the condition and colours of our products are a true representation of the actual item.
However variations in representation of condition or colour may occur due to differences in monitor and / or device settings.
If in doubt, please ask us to confirm condition and colours, for more photographs or any other important information you require before you complete your transaction as this will minimise returns and associated costs for you. We will always respond within 24 hours of your enquiry.
We are happy to send Videos of individual rugs. Please provide a WhatsApp contact Number (complete with Country Prefix) and we will record and send video in 3 / 5 days

Returns and Refunds for "On Sale" and "Free Shipping"

In addition to our Return - Refund Terms and Conditions (see TOUs section in Shop Policies), we advise that, for all purchases with "Included Shipping" from Countries outside UK/EU, we will accept “Change of Mind” returns at Buyer's expense and refund the price paid less any postage, shipping and associated costs incurred by us.
Refunds will be made upon receipt of the item, either by us or our nominated agent, unused, undamaged and in same condition as sent.
