Typical example of mid 20th Century Village weaving, this Vintage Flat-Weave Kilim Wool Rug was made in the Konya region of Central Anatolia, Turkey by Tribal/Village Weavers up to 60-80 years ago. As with most textiles woven for local domestic use, this is a simple, striped rug woven of locally sourced sheep wool colored with natural, vegetable dyes.
